Are all stand-up comedians just foul potty mouths? Swear jar intends to find out. A series of 20 minute comedy sets with the vulgar stuff banned.
It’s all about pushing people to the limit – no easy jokes and no cheap laughs.
Held every three months, on the last Thursday of the month, at the Monarch Tavern in Camden.
The first Swear Jar Comedy kicked off in style at the Monarch bar in Camden. The feedback from both comics and punters alike was superb. Comics enjoyed an intelligent and attentive audience, and the punters just laughed a lot; which is the idea of course. Twelve pounds worth of swears were collected for the charity Greenhouse. Greenhouse works with underprivileged teens in London.
